Atlanta Web Designers
Web Design/Development/Interactive Careers?
I am in the internett/new media industry looking to relocate of out Florida(because florida sucks and there is nothing here.)
Any thoughts on larger markets to relocate too(NYC, Atlanta, Vegas, Boston, LA), I am mid-level designer/developer(various web skills),
just looking to establish long-term location where opportunites will always be their no matter the competion.
Need solid professional advice on this?.
I also know alot of this work is freelance working from home(which I do not want), but I still think you need to be in a larger city, I relocated before and got layed off and their was nothing to look for after that, do not want that to happen again.
Again, looking for work in web design/development, graphic design, multimedia design, programmming/web publishing, etc.
Also, would someone hire someone out of state without 4-year degree, but releveant job experience,(like moving from Florida to San Francisco)
Any thoughts
Need HELP asap
Thanks
A number of companies were hiring people still in or just out of high school, provided they had a portfolio, demonstrating their capabilities, but as more people move into the field companies are demanding more experience or training.
Currently it best if you have at least an associate degree or some type of certificate and ideally with some graphic design skills or training.
The thing is employers often scramble to find workers capable of implementing the newest technologies. You need to keep up with the latest technologies.
Web designer with with certificate, formal education or experience in information security, for example, are in demand because of the growing need for their skills and services
