Do I need to be creative in designing websites or just good at writing code?
I love being a web designer, but I'm having a little trouble with the code looks like this. Of course, I just started learning to do (literally, we played yeaterday in class) but do you think it is useful to have a good eye for the design of this line of work. I am very creative and I'm trying to merge into a career that pays well. developer web pages? Any thoughts people
Of course, it helps to have an eye for Designing a web designer:) And yes, if you become the success that could have a well paid career. But no illusions. Most potential customers who have first met, can not understand how something as simple as "putting a few words" on the Internet may eventually cost more than pennies. They simply do not. In my experience – with the advent of computer-aided design is a large number of small businesses believe they can do as well as the professional. I have seen some abominations! Regarding the coding, it would be a designer rather poor, if you do not understand what was happening under the hood. I have seen designers (usually directly from print) do the complexities of the "web" good design is not all about pretty colors and an attractive logo, it is this aspect of understanding how people see the pages and accepting undertakings that require a high level of accessibility. Never trust a design that can not at least the HTML code. At first, try to get as many ideas on the web that the design as possible, free of charge if necessary and build a good portfolio. Do not install on your own to begin with, because there are a lot of value gained by working with developers, SEO specialists, etc. Many companies in this climate seem to prefer to take the place of novice designers with experience so they can reduce their costs. A good online portfolio you help them get ahead. Please do not listen to their teachers if they fulfill their heads with ideas for work well paid, I met a lot of just out of college that the framers were purchased for this purpose and is not the world real! Edit to add: If you are good with design, stick to it. Of course, trying to learn to program, but it is a specialty all of its own and the time will come for your good customers who rely on a professional web developer to produce the material in the wings. Do work CAK but the hand work and a site occupied are ground to an end.
