Desktop Calculator
How do I get a new version of the Calculator that comes with windows xp?
When I click on the calculator icon on the desktop it changes to an icon of an empty window. Double clicking brings up nothing. The properties show the target as: C:WINDOWSsystem32actmovie.exe
So I think I need a new copy of Calculator.
You can also try to activate it by going to:
Start > All Programs > Accessories and selecting ‘Calculator’.
If you can start it from there, then your shortcut is not functional. You can create a new shortcut by also going to the above location and right clicking on Calculator and Send To > Desktop (create shortcut).
