Graphic Designers: how much for a logotype?

Depends on how well you know the person you’re working for (friends can get discounts …up to you though), and if company is big, and have a lot of money, then you obviously charge more. Typically a logo can range from $500 to $100k or more (if it’s being redesigned for someone like IBM, Intel, Bloomingdales, etc.). Or you can charge as little as $50 (for friends).

Personally I wouldn’t charge under $100 for a logo.
