What is the best Apple computer to computer graphics and animation?

My daughter is always a talented artist, drawings animated drawing and equipment and other stories by hand. I have to buy a desktop or laptop from Apple, because I heard that Apple is the favorite team graphic artists to think about. All Comments graphics? I think the last time I used an apple was the Apple I at the end of 1970. Ideas for graphics software? Dreamweaver is a good program for this application? I am an expert in IBM-clone, so I know this is not the best team for this application. I am looking for some information and opinions (not just "like or similar) looking Gib. me details. Educate me!

I, the new iMac desktop and MacBook recommend. (MacBook Pro seems a bit pricey, but if you have a big budget, go for it.) The computer is not necessarily the most expensive, but you can get the graphics software expensive.
