Download Logo Maker

So the camera I have (a Kodak easy share) when I upload video onto my computer it automatically becomes QuickTime. Now, you may already know that windows movie maker does not support QuickTime. SO my question is…
Is there any type of media converter that I can download? I already have Digital Media Converter 2.5 but its a demo and leaves a big logo across whatever I convert, plus it only lets me convert 1 minute-for music or video.
OR
Is there any type of movie editor that I could download somewhere that supports QuickTime? (…that’s….preferably better than windows movie maker?)
