What is a good graphic design/animation software for a beginner?
I’m really just looking to create some cool cover art and maybe some animation. Thanks
You might want to look in to Adobe Photoshop and/or Adobe Illustrator. If you want to go in to some 2d animation Adobe Flash is the way to go.
If you want to go in to 3d animation. I recommend you learn Maya right from the beginning. Another good one is 3D studio max. Just look which one suits you more.
There are different courses you can follow, there are tons of books and dvd’s on how to work with these programs and one youtube and the internet in general are a lot of tutorial sites.
