How to make a head on the Web?

I am designing a website with XHTML 1.0 Transitional and I want to design a header and navigation in a different file that I mentioned in my main folder. So when I make changes to the file header that changes everything Site. Is possible? Thank you. I use XHTML 1.0 Transitional payable to the document in Dreamweaver and the CSS document.

Do what you want requires Server Side Includes. SSI: The http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Server_Side_Includes-tête can be done with CSS only if you are only changing the image. Edit Browsing certainly need the SSI. Ron
