Letterhead Templates
How do I make a Word template default to a particular paper stock?
I have several mail-merged templates that I’m printing repeatedly, but only one of them needs to print onto letterhead. I’d really like this to be automatic, so I don’t manually switch back and forth as I print different templates. Thanks for any advice.
Short Story: it’s not possible unless you know scripting/coding for your printer driver as well as writing Macros.
Long Story:
That’s not a function of MS word. That’s a function of your printer driver. It’s unlikely you’d be able to attach it to a particular template like that, without some Macro scripting. I don’t have the particular scripting skills to do it myself, but in theory it could be done, but you’d have to have script knowledge of your printer driver as well to do it.
