Where can I find cheap apple computers (latest desktops) and parts for Mac?
Is it possible to assemble Mac the same way I do with PCs, buy all parts separately and that’s it? Thank you! Preferred store locations – NY.
Well… Mac parts are fundamentally the same as any other PC. Intel processors, nVidia graphics cards, SATA hard drives, etc. The problem is that Apple only allows Mac OS to be installed on Apple hardware. As such, you cannot build your own Mac (at least, not legally).
Also, you will never find “cheap” Apple computers as Apple sets the prices themselves and does not allow authorized retailers to change them.
