Company Logos
What is the industry term for the production company logos (short clips) that appear before films?
They seem to be getting more abundant each year.
Anyone else find that annoying? Get to the movie, already!
Not the previews, the short segments that announce which studios or companies had a part in the production of the film. Lionsgate Entertainment, Castle Rock, Pixar, Miramax. In the old days, the studio name would appear and that would be that. Now each one has an animated logo or short clip that has to appear before the feature.
