Designing Logos For Free
Does anybody know a site for graphic designing, were you make logos for people for free?
hi, i am working to become a graphics designer and i was wondering does anybody have any sites were people request your logo for free, and you make it for them? thanks!

yes i do have adobe photoshop cs3 version 10 extended and 7.0
i also have illustrator
Its understood that you want to become a designer so you are willing to do work for free so you can learn the ropes (including making a client happy). This kind of work is similar to specualtion work, a dreaded thing in the graphic design field.
But a great way to learn graphic design is to make sure you have access to the proper programs (Adobe photoshop, illustrator, indesign, dreamweaver) and then you could go out and find logos you think should be updated or replaced. You are still working, learning and growing and not getting involved in a speculation situation.
I get clients all the time that tried free or cheap designers and ultimately decide to spend the time and money on a professional to get the results they desire. By you spending the time on updating/replacement logos or other design projects you are still building your portfolio.
That portfolio could get you into a design school or into a job.
