Is there a license that allows a business to print tradmarked logos?
We own a banner business, as well as printing posters, etc. Is there a license that allows blanket permission to print trademarked logos?
Tim T is mostly correct. You absolutely need to have the right to use the logo but you need not always contact the trademark holder. For instance I sell computers, accessories, and services. I am permitted to use logos from many vendors. In fact I have very specific instruction and how and when I can use these. I often have to provide this info when getting signage done. Not so much for the my permission to use of the logo but more so that they know the proper proportion to my logo and the proper colors to be used.
